The invite read “Luli wants to party” and party is just what the audience did while watching the models strut down the catwalk to the beat of pounding drums at the Luli Fama 2010 Collection fashion show. An explosion of colors punctuated the fabulous fiesta with prints and patterns accompanied by ruffles, rings and strings to make buyers dig deep.
The design duo of Luli Hanimian and brother-in-law Augusto Hanimian used Miami as inspiration and broke the collection up into four themes one more fiery than the other. “Rhumba” rolled out with the Merenquito magenta flower bandeau and band bottom bikini and Confetti pink and black string bikini which gave way to “Boom Boom Boom” with the bold Fiesta de lazos sun goddess bow one piece and Mambo sequin tunic then turned into “Fiesta en Miami” which engaged the audience with the Delirio monokini and the Joyita Mia triangle and ring hipster leading up to the crescendo of “Pasion” with the Ritmo de La noche monokini and the Besos Dulce sequence tunic left the crowd wanting more. To which the Luli Fama responded with a “Grande Finale” known as the Pasion bandeau suspender monikini that added a little punk to the prowess under the Oasis Tent.
Luli Fama retails from $120.00 to $150.00 and can be found in stores like Diane's, Bikini Village and Swim N Sport just to name a few.
