Vampires were big at the Teen Choice Awards in Los Angeles Sunday night with The Twilight Saga receiving 11 wins at the ceremony, including fantasy movie and acting roles. Also, the television series Vampire Diaries sucked up seven surfboard-shaped trophies at the event.

With more than 85 million teens voting, big winners besides Twilight included TV shows Gossip Girl and Glee and teen singing sensation Justin Bieber. The night was hosted by Katy Perry, who dressed as a cheerleader, a geek and a goth, taped to be telecast in the US August 9 at 8 pm EST on Fox-TV.

Ashton Kutcher won for performances in both Valentine's Day and Killers, Sandra Bullock for romantic comedy The Proposal, and Tina Fey for comedy Date Night.

Leonardo DiCaprio took the Horror/Thriller actor prize for Shutter Island, and Megan Fox won in the Horror/Thriller category for Jennifer's Body.

In line with MTV's Movie Awards' more surprising categories, there were prizes for:
? Choice Movie Chemistry: Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, New Moon
? Choice Movie Fight: Mia Wasikowska vs. The Jabberwocky, Alice in Wonderland
? Choice Movie Dance: Sandra Bullock and Betty White, The Proposal

For the music categories, winners included Justin Bieber for male artist, pop single and album, Lady Gaga for female, Eminem for rap, Beyoncé for R&B, and Paramore for rock group.

The Choice Single was "California Gurls" by Katy Perry and the Choice Music Hook Up winner was B.o.B featuring Hayley Williams for "Airplanes." Also, Choice R&B Track went to Usher's "OMG," R&B album was by Jason Derülo.
